The track set is combined with roughness, wind field and vulnerability models to create a complete loss model.  Running the model with our industry exposure results in a total Average Annual Loss of $12.1 billion with the following geographic loss distribution.  We have also analyzed the Florida Catastrophe Fund exposure dataset as modeled for the Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology and compared KatRisk Model Losses with other model losses reported by the Commission.

Northwest Pacific Typhoon

The track set covers the entire Northwest Pacific Basin.  10,000 years of stochastic storm tracks have been generated.  The Asia Typhoon model also includes roughness, windfield and vulnerability components so that losses across the entire region can be calculated.
