KatRisk has released a final retrospective set of footprints for Hurricane Ian including Hurricane Storm Surge, Wind, and Inland Flood. The below provides a comparison between our combined surge and inland flood footprints and ground truth imagery from the recent event. We also present our Hurricane Wind footprint. Using our exposure database of insurable properties, we estimate this to be an approximately $45.6B economic loss event. Further details on loss by peril are enumerated upon within the below document. Our thoughts are with those effected by this catastrophic hurricane.
